i apologise if i offended you and i wasnt really making a statement about Ford ( i just found the photo) because you’re right, i dont know much at all about america or its history or presidents. but i know a bit (enough to have some sort of opinion) about the current political system in america and i thought the image worked as a generalisation for the past.. few.. presidents. but perhaps not Ford. I would love to learn though and im sure my opinions will change as i do. but thats all good because living is learning and i dont want to remain naive.
not the past few, America is a good system. right now we have a complete moron as a leader. our Democratic party has a tendency to lean towards socialist and even Marxist ideas, as opposed to a Democracy. the Right may not do things right constantly and makes some real stupid moves but their better than what the left has started calling themselves Progressive. i’m a registered Libertarian which appears to be the only candidates getting elected into the Republican party that have very consitutional grounded ideas. but i will give it to you that right now we’re really screwed. Congress really caused us to bite the bullet, Bush really got the blame but actually Bush kept warning that all the finical structure couldn’t keep stable with all the bills and loans the left was passing. Bush wasn’t as bad as people made him out to be, he wasn’t my favorite but i didn’t hate him.
i thought the Ford image was just way off. but actually Wall Street in America is the backbone of our economy. i really don’t think all executives are greedy that this administration said, they are very anti-free market and think the Federal Government should regulate, which i don’t trust considering how much of a mess the Federal Reserve is. prime case is how the Government has been bashing GM which is pretty much the only company supplying job here in the city of Detroit, i come from an GM family, and basically the Government removed the great CEO we had and put this moron from AT&T in as CEO…who knows nothing about cars at all and even admitted it. brilliant right? but i will give you that right now things are a mess. but a lot of people are PISSED over here so i won’t be surprised that changes come here soon.
